For as long as I've known I have wanted to run and own my own business. To me owning my own business is securing a future for myself and my future family. I never had the opportunity, or the support to do it.
I went to college and studied A Level Health and Social Care and Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Society, Heath and Development. With the hope that I would eventually get a full time job, as is expected.
I completed college and got my first full time job. And what a waste of time that was!!The job was for some people and that person wasn't me. So I moved on to the next job, similar environment, nice people, blah, blah, blah! So it was established, I am not content with what is considered the normal mundane life.
I'm not saying that working in the 'rat race' is a bad thing, it just isn't me.So one night after work, I sat there thinking, what is it that drives me? What makes me look forward to each day? The answer; be my own boss.
After much deliberation with myself and my partner, I decided to take the plunge!I'm going to become self-employed nail technician.
Sounds glamorous dosent it?! Truth is it's going to be extremely hard work.
